Center for Ethics in Free Enterprise newest free eBook on Entrepreneurship, Guerilla Entrepreneurship: The Original has just been released. This
is the 15th version of the popular eBook authored by Dr Fred DiUlus, the online education pioneer, who is the CEO and founder of Global Academy Online Inc., the American based university builder.
The current version of the eBook is particularly timely. The severe economic downturn
in the USA and the global financial turmoil brings the nation and the world perilously close to what Dr. DiUlus suggests is
an almost certain double-dip recession. He calls the eBook a toolbox of entrepreneurial ‘Do’s’. “An
entrepreneur’s greatest time”, he suggests, “is when everyone else is too frightened or frozen in place
to strike out on their own, while entrepreneur’s make investments of their time, talent and treasure to undertake new
ventures. Wall Street”, he goes on, “calls this the Contrarian Theory, and for entrepreneurs, economic downturns
are a call to action.”
Individuals, DiUlus offers, do not automatically emerge as entrepreneurs by studying books or listening to endless
lectures and motivational cd’s. “Potential Entrepreneurs”, he says, “require a
healthy dose of hands on learning as well.” Readers of the first chapter of the new version will
find that it will bring them face to face with the reality of whether they are entrepreneurs or not.
The author points out that entrepreneurs don’t necessarily make the best
managers so the book, he feels, is equally as important to those who will really be running things. Most entrepreneur enthusiasts
fail to realize entrepreneurs are creators and transformational leaders, and not necessarily the best person to be running
a McDonalds franchise or the family business. DiUlus says the fact that people allude to these people as entrepreneurs is
a misnomer. “Entrepreneurs have to make something new or remake something old and the venture has to be successful."
And that he concludes is the simple test to earning the title of "Entrepreneur".
Dr. DiUlus is the author
of several books. His 2011 edition of the Best Worst Online Degree Program Providers that names the top 20 online universities in the world and ranks several hundred others was also released recently.
