- Academy Scholarships
Annually, Global Academy Online is committed to sponsoring the World Youth & Young Adult Ethics Symposia. These world class events provide the opportunity for delegates to acquire tuition scholarships to attend undergraduate or graduate school at any one of the colleges or universities served by the Academy.
- Academy Grants
Global Academy Online has up to ten grants available annually to help struggling colleges and universities launch successful online degree programs. Often, because of budget limitations and lack of capital to recruit experienced faculty or add new services, wanting colleges either ignore the opportunity or put it on the 'some day' list. With the Academy's startup grants, an institution need wait no longer.
- The Academy's School Initiative
The Academy has adopted the position that minds are indeed a terrible thing to waste, particularly when they are very young and essentially helpless. As part of our own vision, we have targeted elementary schools in need who have provided, historically, an outstanding education to the underserved of our nation. We have identified several schools to assist. One, for example, is located in one of the poorest sections of Tampa, Florida. Most all of its children are in need of financial assistance. Almost the entire student body is on scholarship. The Academy not only is committed to assisting this fine school with scholarships for its deserving students, but will also seek to help protect its' integrity by assisting in funding efforts to keep the school from becoming an inner city casualty.
- The Academy Forecasts the Future
As the Academy reaches into the the far corners of the world, our outreach and human services will take on a truly global perspective. Helping others foster education in all areas of the world, will in turn, prepare others to teach and help others do the same. Mother Theresa put it quite succinctly when asked how this world can achieve global peace. She said "By doing good for one another, the Peace will come."
